Most finance apps make you log every expense by hand. Finvot doesn't. It truly automates your finances, puts AI to work for you, and shows all your money in one place. You buy; Finvot logs it.

  • Zero manual logging — your transactions are captured on their own from the sources you already use every day.
  • AI works for you — it reads every purchase, categorizes it, and organizes it without you lifting a finger.
  • Everything in one place — balances, budgets, and insights, always up to date.

How it works

No matter where the transaction comes from, the flow is always the same:

You make a purchase
The notification arrives(email, SMS, Apple Pay, WhatsApp)
Finvot receives it automatically
AI processes it
Logged in your budgets

The transaction is created with amount, merchant, date, and category, and your balances, budgets, and insights update on their own.

Your tracking sources

Enable the ones that apply to you — you can combine several:

  • Email — if your bank sends transaction alerts by email, set up automatic forwarding once and every alert becomes a transaction. See guide →
  • SMS (iOS) — if your bank notifies you by text message, a shortcut captures those notifications and sends them to Finvot. See guide →
  • Apple Pay (iOS) — a shortcut records your Apple Pay payments. See guide →
  • WhatsApp — message Finvot something like "Lunch $15" and the transaction creates itself. Great for cash. See guide →
  • Voice or photo (Premium AI plan) — dictate the expense or snap a photo of the receipt.
  • Manual — and you can always add any transaction in seconds from the app.

Your bank doesn't send emails?

No problem. Email is the most common source, but it's not required: if your bank only notifies by SMS, or if you record everything through Apple Pay or WhatsApp, Finvot works just the same. Use the combination of sources that fits your bank and your habits.

Your privacy comes first

Finvot does not connect to your bank and never asks for your banking username or password. It only receives the notifications you choose to share, and you can disconnect any source at any time.

Set up your account in 3 steps

The full setup takes about 15 minutes and you only do it once:

  1. Download the app and complete the onboarding — the app walks you through creating your account, your first bank account, and your budgets. No guide needed for this.
  2. Enable your automatic sourcesemail forwarding, Apple Pay, WhatsApp, or SMS, depending on your bank and habits.
  3. Follow your first steps — the checklist to have Finvot working on its own from day one.
