Privacy and security

Does Finvot connect to my bank? No. Finvot never asks for your banking username or password, and has no access to your bank or your email. It only receives a copy of the transaction notifications that you decide to forward or send (email, SMS, Apple Pay, WhatsApp).

What does Finvot see about my purchases? What the bank's notification carries: amount, merchant, bank, date, and time. It does not see passwords, full card numbers, or your bank statements.

What about Apple Pay? You create and control the shortcut, and it only sends the amount, merchant, and card. Finvot has no access to your Wallet.

What data does the AI Chat use? Only your own financial data, in aggregated form, to answer you. You can clear the chat history anytime. More about the assistant →

Your account

How do I change the language? Profile → Settings → Language — Spanish or English.

Can I use several currencies? Yes: each account has its own currency, and budgets and analysis are handled per currency. Your primary currency and timezone are set from your profile.

How do I delete my account? Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete account. All your data is permanently erased: accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, and settings.

Plans and payments

How do I redeem a promo code? From the app. Keep in mind you can only redeem one code in the lifetime of your account. More about plans →

How do I cancel my subscription? From the store where you subscribed (App Store / Google Play), or from your profile if you paid through the web. Your data is preserved when downgrading.

I hit the Free plan's transaction limit — did I lose the ones that came after? No — they're held under Profile → Management → Pending transactions and get reprocessed when you upgrade.
